complete line of running gear both days, with special prices.
Premiums
All
registered marathon and half marathon runners will receive a custom designed
quarter-zip wind shirt with reflective trim (microfiber, fast-wicking,
water-repellent). The jackets are unisex sized, but run large. As a result, you will need to order sizes
smaller than you normally do. For
example, if you normally wear a Women’s Size Medium (M), you should order an
Extra Small (XS), and if you normally wear a Men’s Medium, you should order a
Small (S). Please indicate your selection on the entry form.

The first mile is on residential
streets. Remainder of
both races on the B&A Trail – an asphalted bike & running path along a

Volunteers will monitor all turns
and most intersections. Each mile of the
Time Limit
The marathon course will close at
six hours (about a 13:45/mile pace). We
can’t guarantee course support after that time.
If you plan to be over 6 hours and would like an early start, please
contact the race director. We will still
post your time and give you a finisher’s medal and make sure there is food
available. Note: Early starters are not
eligible for any awards.

Timing
Professional ChampionChip
scoring will again be used for the B&A Trail
Marathon and Half Marathon.
Aid Stations
Aid stations will include: water, Gatorade, fruit, coke, cookies, hard
candy, aspirin and petroleum jelly. They
are located at the 3, 7, 11, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, and 24 mile marks. Post-race food and beverages are available at
the finish.
Race Conditions
Typical March
weather, with temperatures ranging from the low 40s to high 60s with rainy and
windy conditions possible.
Medical Assistance
First aid personnel will be

This race needs many volunteers
for jobs that include packet pickup, food service, water stops, course
monitoring, and finish line. This is a
great way for family members to see their favorite runners along the course,
and to contribute to the success of the event.
