Registration: All registration was through Active.com. Registration is closed.. Registration closes when the combined field for the marathon and half-marathon reaches 1050 or February 27 whichever comes first. |
Course Markings: Volunteers will
monitor all turns and most intersections.
Each mile of the |
Course Description: The first mile is
on residential streets. Remainder of
both races on the B&A Trail – an asphalt bike & running path along a
Rails-to-Trails Park. Hill at mile
7. Rest of the course is railroad
grade – mostly flat. The course is
USATF certified and there are many opportunities for spectators along the
trail. The |

Timing: RunHIgh chip scoring will again be used for the B&A Trail Marathon and Half Marathon. |
Time Limit: The marathon course will close at six hours (about a 13:44/mile pace). We can’t guarantee course support after that time. If you plan to be over 6 hours and would like an early start, please contact Tom Bradford. We will still post your time and give you a finisher’s medal and make sure there is food available. Note: Early starters are not eligible for any awards. |
Volunteers: This race needs
many volunteers for jobs that include food service, water stops, course
monitoring, and finish line. This is a
great way for family members to see their favorite runners along the course,
and to contribute to the success of the event. Please contact Donna Cogle for information and to sign up as a volunteer. |

Aid Stations: Aid stations will include: water, Gatorade, fruit, coke, cookies, hard candy, aspirin and petroleum jelly. They are located at the 3, 7, 11, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, and 24 mile marks. Post-race food, beverages, and warm showers are available at the finish. |
Race Conditions: Typical March weather, with temperatures ranging from the low 40s to high 60s with rainy and windy conditions possible. |

finishers (marathon and half-marathon).
