Valentines Day 5k

First Leg of the 2011 Annapolis Striders Championship Series, our 29^th Year!

NEW in 2011- NO Championship Series registration on race day!

Registration: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM

Start: 10:00 AM, Awards 11:00 AM

Entry Fee: Registration via active or via mail is CLOSED. There will be no race day sign ups.

Kid’s Runs – 10:45 AM – First Leg of Kids’ Run Championship Series. 50/100 yard dash and 1 mile. All participants must register via mail application or active.com (no fee). Race is free to all ages for this run. Parents may run with kids. Questions? Contact Susan Noble; Kids Race Director, susanmnoble@verizon.net

Course: Mostly flat with 2 gentle rolling hills around the park. No strollers, no headphones, no roller blades and no pets please.

Workers Run: February 5, 2011 at 10:00 am

Directions: Veteran’s Highway or Route 2 East to East West Boulevard. At the roundabout, go South on Jumper’s Hole Road. Park is approximately 1 mile on the right. Turn into park, make first left on Gail-Sanchez Way (before toll booth). Follow road around the sports complex to Jaycees House, past the green barn. Limited parking at Jaycees, but additional parking is available in the sports complex. We would just love it if you would carpool!

Refreshments: Gatorade, water, hot chocolate, hot cider, cookies, fruit. Back by popular demand…. Ginger Snaps!

Awards: Prizes to female and male overall and age group categories.
Random prizes awarded at finish line. All kids receive participation ribbons.
