Local Group Runs

Are you looking for a group of friendly faces to meet consistently and run together with? Here is a consolidated list of local area group runs open to anyone interested. While most of these groups have members of the Annapolis Striders in them, this is not an endorsement by the Annapolis Striders, Inc. It’s a way to find other people to run with almost every day of the week. Bridge Club meets at 6 PM on Wednesday nights at the Jonas and Anne Catharine Green Park parking lot during spring, summer, and early fall. Bridge Club consists of interval drills up and down the bridge which usually amounts to 5 miles of running for a little over an hour. The goal is to increase speed/endurance on hills…and is a great way to prepare for the A10 race. Church of the Long Run meets on Sunday mornings at 7 AM at the B&A trail behind Naval Bagels in Arnold. Our group currently consists of runners, who sometimes will run 8 to 10 miles, and other weeks we walk 2.
