Metric Marathon
The Metric Marathon, the sixth race of the Championship Series, is held the first weekend of October. The race features a scenic 26.2-kilometer (16.28-mile) course through Harwood area of Southern Anne Arundel County.

Dog Days 8K Cross Country Run
The Dog Days Cross Country Run, the fifth leg of the Championship Series, is held the first Sunday in August. The race is run on the Earl Scott Trail, named after the former AACC groundkeeper, longtime member of the Annapolis Striders and Dog Days Race Director.

Endless Summer 6-Hour Run
Our summertime 6-hour race in July challenges runners to achieve as much distance in 6 hours as they can cover. This race is currently held at Greenbury Point on the Chesapeake Bay.

John Wall Memorial One Mile Track Run
The fourth leg of the Championship Series, this one mile track race is named in memory of distinguished Annapolis Strider and runner John Wall.

Women’s Distance Festival 5K / Run After the Women 5K
In 1979, the Annapolis Strider’s parent club Road Runners Club of America started the Women’s Distance Festival in response to the lack of distance running events in the Olympics Games for women. Our women’s race was first run in 1980 and the “Run after the Women” for the men was added 5 years later.

Dawson’s Father’s Day 10K
The Dawson’s Father’s Day 10K is the third race of the Championship Series held on Father’s Day each year. The course is out-and-back mostly along the B&A Trail.

Cherry Pit 10 Mile Race
The Cherry Pit 10 Mile Race is the second race of the Championship Series, typically held the first or second weekend of April. This race is an alternative to the Cherry Blossom 10-Miler in Washington, D.C.

Valentine’s 5K
Originally known as the Valentine’s Twesome Relay, this race was merged with the Washington’s Birthday 5k to become the Valentine’s 5K. It is the first race of the Annapolis Striders Championship Series for the calendar year typically held the weekend of or before Valentine’s Day.
